With a 1.254" outer diameter and a recommended installed height of 1.700", these springs are ideal for use in Chevrolet Small Blocks with factory, unmodified cylinder heads. These springs have a 105 pound seat pressure, max lift of 0.490" and a spring rate of 373 pounds, making them ideal for mild flat tappet camshafts. 981 springs are compatible with our 750-16 retainers and 4753 shims.
